[jira] Created: (MSITE-324) Force line breaks are ignored in UNIX files in Windows deployment

Force line breaks are ignored in UNIX files in Windows deployment
-----------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: MSITE-324
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MSITE-324
             Project: Maven 2.x Site Plugin
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.0-beta-6, 2.0-beta-5
Environment: Windows XP SP2, Maven 2.0.9
            Reporter: Michael Osipov

I do have a apt file in UNIX format, every line is terminated with a LF only.

Some of my lines contain a \ on the end. I'd like to force a line break. The outcome it not a forced line break but the verbatim output of the \ symbol.

So Site plugin does ignore the \ with UNIX file format on Windows.
