mod_jserv.so still's troubling

Hello,

I did it all over again - installing Apache with
support for DSO, building Apache JServ 1.1.2 etc., but
still I get the warning 

Loaded DSO /usr/lib/apache/mod_jserv.so uses plain
Apache 1.3 API, this module might
 crash under EAPI! (please recompile it with -DEAPI)

And so I did - all .c files were compiled with -DEAPI.
Still, this warning message appears and Apache won't
start. 

What can I do ?
ANY little hint will be HIGHLY appreciated !!
