         Environment: [root@xqwin03 bin]# cat /etc/redhat-release 
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.4 (Santiago)

[root@xqwin03 bin]# uname -a
Linux xqwin03 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Jan 29 11:47:41 EST 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Create a symbol link for ${SPARK_HOME}/spark-submit
run spark-submit meets following errors:
{color:red}
/usr/bin/spark-submit: line 50: /usr/bin/spark-class: No such file or directory
{color}

The reason is 
SPARK_HOME="$(cd "`dirname "$0"`"/..; pwd)"
can not handle symbol link

change to 
{color:red}
SPARK_HOME="$(cd "`dirname $(readlink -nf "$0")`"/.. ; pwd -P)"
{color}
can fix this problem
