This is due to the fact that currently on {{jcr:data}} property attributes below {{nt:resource}} types are ignored.

In general an improved https://jackrabbit.apache.org/filevault/vaultfs.html#Extended_File_aggregates handling should be implemented which
# detects jcr:data attributes provided by binary files
# will not check for mandatory missing properties in the case of `*.dir` DocView files but only once the parent node is fully processed
