Key: SOLR-10591
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-10591
Project: Solr
Issue Type: Task
Security Level: Public (Default Security Level. Issues are Public)
Components: Backup/Restore
Affects Versions: 5.0
Reporter: Avinash Gaddam
Hi,
I am fairly new to Solr world, had an requirement regarding Backup/Solr data -
Requirement -
Currently we are Indexing Metadatasin Solr which has been for around year.
We want to take a backup of data on Month to Month basis and restore the same when required. i.e. say - take back up of March data alone and restore the same back in the month of May.
Tried till now –
I was able to take back up of Complete Index and restore the same back as new Index.
But unable to merge it with Current latest Index. Is this doable?
Can I take Partial data Backup and Restore the same to the current Index.?
