DO NOT REPLY [Bug 52463] New: log4j-extras: Configure thread
priority of asynchronous action in RollingDescription
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=52463
Bug #: 52463
Summary: log4j-extras: Configure thread priority of
asynchronous action in RollingDescription
Product: Log4j
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: Other
AssignedTo: log4j-dev@logging.apache.org
ReportedBy: jonigkeit@cetrea.com
Classification: Unclassified
While TimeBasedRollingPolicy is a excellent way to compress log files, it is
not possible to configure the priority of the thread running the asynchronous
action of compression the file.
It would be preferable if one could configure the thread priority.
I like to code it myself, but I am not sure on how to submit code.
