[jira] [Created] (OPENMEETINGS-730) Cannot save empty value for configuration key in HTML5 UI (for instance username / pas for email configuration)

SebastianWagner created OPENMEETINGS-730:
--------------------------------------------

Summary: Cannot save empty value for configuration key in HTML5 UI (for instance username / pas for email configuration)
                 Key: OPENMEETINGS-730
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-730
             Project: Openmeetings
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: HTML5
    Affects Versions: 3.0.0 Apache Release
            Reporter: SebastianWagner

For instance for email and user name you might want to set to empty values,
cause the mail server ust does not need any email/password to be set.

But currently the UI will simply say something like "Please enter a value for blabla" and simply not save the empty string to the field.

Besides that if the value if "null" the table does show "null" as string in the field.

It would be better to show an empty string instead of "null" values as Non Geeks will not understand what "null" means.
