return distance in geo spatial query

Hi,

Would be interested in the status of the development in returning the
distance in a spatial query?
I would need the distance to be returned but also would need the
document score which is related to other criteria.

I am using solr 3.1.

This is a feature in trunk (pseudo-fields).
For example:
  fl=id,score,geodist()
