Document class improvement

Hi

I would like to share with you a version of Document class that I changed to
avoid box/unbox and improve iterate fields performance.
How could I do this?

It is my first time collaborating with open source project, so if I make
anything wrong, let me know.

I made a patch file, how can I send for evaluating?
Yesterday I tried to send a file attached and it did not sent.
