[jira] Assigned: (GERONIMO-1639) Setup old version of CORBA specs

Alan Cabrera reassigned GERONIMO-1639:
--------------------------------------

Assign To: Kevan Miller (was: Alan Cabrera)

It's done. Can you test if this solves your problem w/ NPE?

Alan,
I'm afraid this doesn't fix the NPE's. I believe the reason is that
the specs uber-jar still contains the "new", bad corba spec classes.
Many Geronimo configs are including the uber-jar as a dependency,
rather than declaring dependencies for the individual spec jars. As a
result, we're still picking up the new corba classes, not the old,
good corba spec classes.

I'm going to look into fixing the config dependencies (at least
enough to fix the problem). However, in addition, I think the bad
corba spec jars/classes should be removed from Geronimo specs (until
they can be fixed). Do you (or anyone else) agree?
