Re: AW: [jira] [Commented] (FLEX-33086) Make SDK build with Maven/Flexmojos and deploy release and snapshot artifacts to the Apache Maven repository

Hi Chris,

What about deploying the the 6.1.0-SNAPSHOT to the snapshot Sonatype repo if
you don't want to have the burden to release ?

Well if there aren't any other things that should be fixed, perhaps I should
do a 6.0.1 release.
Just didn't want do to such a minor release just to do it again the next
week ;-)

And the Problem of deploying the FDKs are not a technical Problem but a
licensing one ;-)

Actually, FM 6.0.1 fixed the things, the problem is that it hadn't been
deployed yet, so you need to build it from the sources and it works well.

For the other part of your topic, yes, until now, because we didn't find a
way to deploy it automatically yet, you will need to mavenized the SDKs too
to be able to use FM.

I hope I answered.

It seems like flexmojos 6.0.0, deployed to maven central repository, working
fine with Adobe Flex SDK 4.6.0.23201, but I didn't find a way to use it with
Apache Flex SDK 4.9.1. Maybe because flexmojos compiled with 4.6.0, and
working only with it? I think that is not right.
By the way, why Flex SDK must be mavenized? So far as I know, Java SDK, for
example, is not needed in this.
Ok, maybe mavenizing Flex SDK is a good simple way to use it. But I can't
understand, why I should mavenize this? Where is no way to deploy release
version of SDK and plugins to maven central repo automaticaly?

AW: AW: [jira] [Commented] (FLEX-33086) Make SDK build with Maven/Flexmojos and deploy release and snapshot artifacts to the Apache Maven repository

Posted by "christofer.dutz@c-ware.de" <ch...@c-ware.de>.
Hi Frederic ...

I'll have a look into this ... I agree that I should release that pretty soon ... but I guess it will be a 6.0.1 ... don't want the People to Think there is something new in this release ;-)

Fortunately I have been making quite good Progress with my maven-generator-plugin and I will be able to continue my work on the maven-flex-plugin ... really looking forward to this.

Chris
