License queries regarding the win32 binary distrib...

Hi,

Firstly, many thanks to those that make the win32 binary distribution
available in such good time after a new svn release. Good work!

I have a quick query about the distribution which maybe someone more
legally agile can help me with.

The win32 release includes binaries from Apache, BDB and OpenSSL yet
no license agreement from any of those projects is distributed. How is
this possible?

The reason I ask is that I want to redistribute the win32 dlls in a
product I work on that will use the javahl interface. I am left
wondering whether or not I need to seek legal approval for, and
distribute licenses from, those 3rd party projects.

Thanks,

Gareth

I think it's just an oversight that the binary package isn't
explicitly including all of those licenses. But regardless, the
licenses still apply, whether or not they're shipped in package or not.

APR is covered by the Apache license, Subversion is covered by
something almost identical to the Apache license, BDB has its 'free
as long as your product is free' license, OpenSSL has the BSD
license, neon has an LGPL license. Your product needs to respect
them all.
