why mapred job can not catch the current running job?

hi,all
i use TestDFSIO lauch a job,and use mapred job to observer running job
status ,but it seems no any job catched,why?


# mapred job -list
13/08/19 16:26:05 WARN conf.Configuration: session.id is deprecated.
Instead, use dfs.metrics.session-id
13/08/19 16:26:05 INFO jvm.JvmMetrics: Initializing JVM Metrics with
processName=JobTracker, sessionId=

Could you check whether the Job is getting submitted to Job Tracker or is it running in local mode. You can verify the same by seeing the Job Id.
