Apache2 + tomcat4.1.18 ERROR: Receiving from tomcat failed message

Hi all,

We are using Apache2 and Tomcat 4.1.18 together with mod_jk and are seeing
the following in our Apache mod_jk.log file:

[Mon May 26 12:15:53 2003]  [jk_ajp_common.c (1187)]: ERROR: Receiving from
tomcat failed, recoverable operation. err=0
[Mon May 26 12:15:53 2003]  [jk_ajp_common.c (681)]: ERROR: can't receive
the response message from tomcat, network problems or tomcat is down.
[Mon May 26 12:15:53 2003]  [jk_ajp_common.c (1050)]: Error reading reply
from tomcat. Tomcat is down or network problems.
[Mon May 26 12:15:53 2003]  [jk_ajp_common.c (1187)]: ERROR: Receiving from
tomcat failed, recoverable operation. err=0
[Mon May 26 12:15:56 2003]  [jk_ajp_common.c (681)]: ERROR: can't receive
the response message from tomcat, network problems or tomcat is down.

The thing is... from browsing our site, everything looks fine... anyone know
why this is happening? I assume some timeout somewhere...?

* Apache/2.0.45 (Unix)
* mod_ssl/2.0.45
* OpenSSL/0.9.6b
* mod_jk/1.2.2
* tomcat 4.1.18 (FULL version)
* Redhat 7.3
* Java 1.4.1_02

Cheers,
Alex.
