Using cmislib and the AtomPub binding (haven't tested the other bindings for this), if you don't pass in major=true or major=false, check-in fails. That is supposed to be an optional argument with the default set to true, so this seems like a bug. I can handle it in cmislib by always making sure that arg is passed in to checkin but I shouldn't have to do that.
