   @DaanHoogland you're right and I looked again on how to achieve this isolation between queries, with a `repeatable-read` but so far I didn't manage to have it correctly working. I read that for innodb, the default isolation in a transaction is the `repeatable-read` but my local debugging tests did not work as expected. I will dig more to find a better solution and not a hacky one.
