[RESULT] [VOTE] Release 4.8.1, release candidate #1

I'm happy to announce that we have unanimously approved this release.

There are 3  approving votes, 3 of which are binding:
* Enrico Olivelli
* Jia Zhai
* Ivan Kelly

There are no disapproving votes.

I will continue the release procedure and deploy all of the artifacts soon
