sling/js-client module (was: How to override system/sling.js with my own variant?)

Agreed.

I suggest creating a new clients/js-client module, a bundle which
serves sling.js directly, and also contains the test page for that,
that's currently at  [1].

Agreed - the idea in creating a new bundle is not to create a custom
version, but to move sling.js to its own bundle, with its own release
cycle if needed, as opposed to being tied to the POST servlets in the
current codebase.

personally i would refrain from creating own variants of the sling.js
i think one should extend it properly from another let's say mysling.js file.
