Tom Beerbower commented on AMBARI-5943:
---------------------------------------
#1
admin configures a view instance and gives it user
admin enables view for user
user comes in and uses the view
#2
admin configures a view instance and gives it user
admin enables view for user
user comes in and uses the view
user decides they don't need the view, disables it (means: it doesn't show in UI)
#3
admin configures a view instance and gives it user
admin enables view for user and sets the user must have this view ("force" – meaning user cannot disable it)
user comes in and uses the view
since the view is forced, the user cannot disable view if they want

> After an Admin creates a view instance and gives it out to a user, the user should have the ability to "enable/disable" the view instances (meaning: the view does not load in the user's Ambari Web).
> Admins should have the ability to "force" a view to be enabled (i.e. not allow the user to enable/disable).
