[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-499) Automatically forward requests to
/nifi when the context path is misspelled
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-499?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14490408#comment-14490408 ]
Michael Moser commented on NIFI-499:
------------------------------------
Be careful with this one. If I configure a ListenHTTP to listen on http://hostname:15000/contentListener, but my client tries to PostHTTP to http://hostname:8080/contentListener by mistake, then forwarding this /contentListener POST to /nifi may return a 200 response. PostHTTP may be dumb and happy with that response, and the POST content is lost.
