[Issue 126632] New: I cannot install a dictionary

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126632

          Issue ID: 126632

          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 7
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: ui
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: michael@2irn.com

Error message when double-clicking "dict-en-1.oxt"

I've tried two ways to install dict-en-1.oxt. Both have failed in their own
unique way.

First way: I saved the file to my desktop. I went to the file and when I
double-clicked it to install, I got an error message (see attached OO
ERROR.jpg). This is odd, because the path that the Error message gives — which
says that the file "does not exist" and gives the path — is the exact path to
the file.

Second way: Instead of saving the file to my desktop as above, I chose to
install it. This time, the Extension Manager opened and then immediately froze.
I repeated the procedure a few more times until I realized it was futile.

All the downloads of the file were done from here:
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/

Let me know if you need more details.

Thanks for looking into this.

Michael Lamas
