log4j in different context

Hi,
    I´m using tomcat 4.0.2 on Win2K and I´d like to use log4j as logging method ... but I need to define diferent properties of each context, how can I do it?, cause If I put a log4j.properties file on each WEB-INF\classes\ folder of each context .. the log4j use "the last one" ... maybe I´m missing something about the log4j.properties keys ...
