Big Faceless Report Generator

Does anyone have any experience using the Big Faceless Report Generator
with struts applications?

I need to generate PDF reports from a struts application.

What other options would you recommend?

>From some of the posts I have read apache FOP may have performance problems
and iText is a pain to use.
