DO NOT REPLY [Bug 50639] New: Wrong DOMMouseEvent meta key modifier status on MACs

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=50639

Summary: Wrong DOMMouseEvent meta key modifier status on MACs
           Product: Batik
           Version: 1.6
          Platform: Macintosh
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: SVG DOM
        AssignedTo: batik-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
        ReportedBy: eduellery@gmail.com

Everytime a DOMMouseEvent is captured, when triggered by a right click, the
meta key flag is set to true despite the fact that the meta key (command key on
macs) is NOT pressed.

Tomorrow I can provide some code to test this issue, if you want.

BR,
Eduardo Ellery

Batik 1.6 is rather old. Are you really still using this version or was it set
in the bug report by mistake?

Providing a test case, when one has skills for that, shouldn't be optional. ;-)

Please double check with a nightly build, as if you really are using 1.6 then
it's likely that the issue was already fixed. You may use Cameron's nightly
builds [1], if the official ones and/or checking out from SVN and building from
scratch doesn't feel comfortable enough. ;-)
