[Bug 63453] New: Missing ssl session id

https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=63453

            Bug ID: 63453
           Summary: Missing ssl session id
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.5-HEAD
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: All
          Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
          Reporter: pablobarml@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I am trying to log the value of the ssl session id using the SSL_SESSION_ID
environment variable. The value I receive is always empty, although the value
is sent in Client Hello.
I cannot use the solution that offers using SSLV3 since it is no longer
supported.
Is there any way to ensure ssl session id is always written?

Thanks.
