I took a quick look.  The project is setting applicationDPI to 240, and the .css file has fontSizes that are appropriate for 240dp (such as 25 or 30px as opposed to the desktop default of 10 or 12i.  So when running in a 120dpi environment on the desktop, the application is scaled down.  If you set applicationDPI to 120 the entire screen is taken up, but the fonts look too big, but I think they are at the requested height in pixels.

I don't know off-hand the "right" solution, but I think you can pick different fontSizes via MediaQuery based on dpi.
