SA timeout bug starting 2012/07/12
Hello,
Starting this morning (USA time), around 20 spam messages have made it
to my inbox due to errors in my spamassassin executions:
-=-=-
Timeout::_run: check: no loaded plugin implements 'check_main': cannot scan!
Check the necessary '.pre' files are in the config directory. at /usr/local/bin/spamassassin line 403.
-=-=-
SA is apparently dying, but only on certain inputs. I've seen no other
instances of this during 2012 until today.
I'm guessing it has something to do with the updates_spamassassin_org
3.003002 update on 2012/07/07, as I haven't changed anything about this
SA installation (or anything else on this machine, for that matter) for
many months.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? The last time something like
this happened to me was back on March 20, 2011, when there was another
rule update that caused a similar failure. That was related to this
issue:
https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=6558
Is today's problem a known issue, or am I the only one seeing it so
far?
Thanks,
Dan
