The document with 17000 rows has 1 column with web link in every row.
It takes some minuts to open and 140 seconds to save the document.
It takes some seconds to open and 4 second to save, if the column with web
links is deleted. There is no any activity on the internet connection during
saving.

Long time for saving is very annoing when autosave is used.
