Identifying errant bundles
Hi all,
I'm running into a small problem when running felix in the context of
an automated test. One of the bundles I'm deploying during my test is
trying to export a disallowed package (java.io). This is the error
I'm getting from felix:
Auto-properties install: org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Exporting
java.* packages not allowed: java.io
org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Exporting java.* packages not
allowed: java.io
at
org
.apache
.felix
.framework
.util.manifestparser.ManifestParser.<init>(ManifestParser.java:152)
...
Everything seems to work fine, so this is a benign problem. But,
given that this is an automated test, I don't want to train my
developers to ignore exceptions, so I'm trying to figure out which
bundle is the culprit and fix it.
Before I go digging through my bundles' manifests, is there an easy
way to get felix to emit the name of the offending bundle when it
throws this error?
Thanks,
Kris
