[jira] Closed: (BEEHIVE-270) Validate event handler exceptions against event declaration signature
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEEHIVE-270?page=all ]
Zach Smith closed BEEHIVE-270:
------------------------------
Exceptions declared on the EventHandler method which are not declared on the corresponding event cause the following error as expected.
"Handler method myHelloBeanMessageHandler throws clause is not a proper subset of the eventset methods throws claus. Handlers may only throw throwables declared by the eventset"

> Do tighter validation of declared exceptions on an event handler... they can't throw any check exception not declared on the associated event. For example if the event is declared:
> public void onCreate();
> then the following is illegal:
> @EventHandler( field="x", event="onCreate" )
> public void handleOnCreate() throws Exception
