[jira] Commented: (LEGAL-44) What category is this license?

Henri Yandell commented on LEGAL-44:
------------------------------------
Alternative direction on this. The objectionable text is:
"You acknowledge that Software is not designed, licensed or intended for
use in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of any
nuclear facility. "
_that_ Software is the msv text. Is this really a field of use condition, or is it acceptance of a no-liability statement?
Apache are happy to acknowledge that msv was not written for a nuclear facility, and we don't see any reason why our users - even the nuclear facilities, would be concerned about such either.
I'm thinking this can actually be category A if no one objects to how I'm reading that text.

> I'm about to post the license.txt from the msv library at java.net. I'd like to know if source derived from this can be incorporated.
> In fact, I'd like to know if I can publish maven artifacts derived, wholesale, from this, since the author hasn't published in nearly 4 years.
