Picking an issue to work on

Hi,

I was interested in working on a wiki based on Java and came across your
impl. I was thinking of picking a fairly easy issue and working on it so I
can understand the code base.

I notice that you are in the middle of a release. Is it a bad time to work
on some contributions so I can learn the code base? (

PS: I managed to build the source and the build went very smoothly btw.
Kudos on that :)

Hi Tharindu and welcome!

please do not hesitate on hopping in :-) Easy places to start with could
be, for example, plugins, filters, templates..

As for specific JIRA issues, I think that either JSPWIKI-143, JSPWIKI-181,
JSPWIKI-363 or JSPWIKI-522 would be good candidates. You can have a look at
them at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI
