Thanks Itou, have you tried to apply the patch in the above mentioned ticket? Does it resolve the IE6 issue?

Hopefully Prototype 1.6.1 final comes out soon, otherwise I'll just patch the version shipped with Click.

Alternatively we can go back to 1.6.0_03 but I've noticed issues in IE when using Ajax.
