Maven SCM Providers Gitexe: Please consider SCM-486 for inclusion

Hello,

In SCM-486 Joseph Walton contributed a patch that enables users to
configure a system property that enables OpenPGP-signing of git tags
created by Maven SCM Providers Gitexe:

This is a nice feature to have when you use the Maven Release plugin
for releasing artefacts and tagging the release in git.

I have tested this patch against the recent master of Maven SCM, and
it works as far as I can tell (applies cleanly as well), including the
unit test provided with the patch.

Would the Maven SCM maintainers consider including this patch for the
next Maven SCM release?
