truerand

A very simple question for most of you. I'm compiling on HP-UX, and am
running into problems with building mod_auth_digest:

mod_auth_digest.c:305: #error APR random number support is missing; you
probably need to install the truerand library.

1. Where can I get/download truerand library from?
2. How come truerand is not packaged with Apache2.0?

Thanks,
M

heck, I don't know :) I found a place earlier today... From google
just now I can see that various packages redistribute it with private
patches to solve one portability problem or another. Somebody claims
to have solved problems it had with glibc. mod_ssl ships it...

Does anybody know where the "best" version is, if there is such a
thing?

I think we should provide it as a backup random generator for APR on
Unix (to use when there is no kernel device like /dev/random),
assuming the license is not a problem. (I doubt that it is.)
