SpamAssassin trusts the first public IP as it assumes that it is your border
gateway.  Making it only trust the private IPs if it finds itself running on a
private IP would break things for people with gateways having public IPs
forwarding to an internal private network.

Setting trusted_networks really isn't that hard (and should be mandatory, IMHO).

Suggest this bug be closed.
