An observation on Tap 4.1.2 DirectLink updateComponents parameter

I have noticed that if the DirectLink parameter 
updateComponents is specified, then the request is 
always asynchronous, irrespect of whether the async
parameter is true or false.

The above is probably what most people want.
Maybe it will be a bit clearer if it is stated in the
documentation.
