I’m about to go though the process of signing the membership agreement to become an “Associate Member” for the Eclipse foundation. Before I signed the document and submitted it, I thought I might run it by you guys first. The Membership Agreement can be found here: https://www.eclipse.org/org/documents/eclipse-foundation-membership-agreement.pdf . After reading I think it fairly innocous particularly because we are, in their minds, an NGO wishing to become an “Associate Member,” costing us $0. The survial clause is the only one that brought me any pause as it accommodates for usage of the ASF name and logo in perpituity, but in a “consistent manner as, similar Members’s names and logos are displayed.” What are your thoughts on my signing the menbership agreement?

Regardless, I thought that before signing the ASF into an agreement with another foundation, I thought it prudent to bring it before legal first.
