Java 1.1 Collections Package

For the benefit of legacy code, would the principles outlined in:

http://maven.apache.org/maven-1.x/reference/standard-sun-jar-names.html

be extrapolated to cover the

http://java.sun.com/products/archive/javabeans/infobus/collectionsreadme.html

i.e. /com.sun/jars/collections-x.jar

and in general to any Sun dependencies starting com.sun? I understand that no-one is too interested in collections.jar right now but might anyone involved know of a precedent involving another com.sun JAR?

Many thanks in anticipation

David

Posted by Carlos Sanchez <ca...@apache.org>.
If the package of all the classes is com.sun.java.util.collections,
I'd say groupId=com.sun.java.util

I could give you my word as a Spaniard.
No good. I've known too many Spaniards.
