Another spf HELO checking mystery

Can someone explain what is going on with this SPF check?

Aug 16 10:36:22 xxxxx spamassassin[6873]: spf: checking HELO
(helo=mail01.infostations.net, ip=69.19.135.50)
Aug 16 10:36:22 xxxxx spamassassin[6873]: spf: query for /
69.19.135.50/mail01.infostations.net: result: none, comment: SPF:
domain of sender mail01.infostations.net does not designate mailers

infostations.net does indeed designate mailers and the text record
for infostations.net specifies 69.19.135.50 as a valid address.

Is spf doing the lookup on mail01.infostations.net? That does not
designate a mailer so it seems that is the case.

Is it doing the right thing?
