[jira] [Created] (ARIES-941) When running Subsystems in a non-root region, scoped subsystems have the wrong parent (root)

Glyn Normington created ARIES-941:
-------------------------------------

Summary: When running Subsystems in a non-root region, scoped subsystems have the wrong parent (root)
                 Key: ARIES-941
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARIES-941
             Project: Aries
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Subsystem
            Reporter: Glyn Normington

Applications and composites have the root region as parent and feature contents are installed into the root region. Instead of the root region in these cases, the region in which the Subsystems implementation was installed and started should be the one to use.

John Ross commented on ARIES-941:
---------------------------------

Currently, the root subsystem will always be assigned to the kernel region from Region Digraph. Instead, I think the root subsystem should be assigned to the region to which the subsystems implementation bundle is assigned.
