[jira] [Resolved] (QPID-3055) Modify the clients in tools module to use the new addressing feature and to be more script friendly.

Rajith Attapattu resolved QPID-3055.
------------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Closing this issue as QPID-3358 has superseded this.
QPID-3358 introduces the concept of a profile to set the environment rather a single script which tries to account for all unix/linux environments.

I have already added a profile for running from a source checkout on a linux environment.
I will be adding one for running on installed rpms.
I also hope to add one for running from source in cygwin.

> The tools directory contains various classes that are used for constructing performance tests.
> These classes should be modified to work with the new addressing syntax.
> Also these classes should be more script friendly to allow test scripts to use them in a variety of situations with minimum configuration.
> Currently these classes rely heavily on JVM args.
> It would be good if these classes could take at least the host, port and address as program arguments as well.
