Hi tomcat Shared Resources

Hi,

I have three portals portal1, portal2, and portal3.
SO under tomcat webapps folder i have three folders for three of them 
say portal1, 2 and 3.
I am using jakarta-tomcat-4.1.12 and jetspeed 1.4b2.
My problem is that i have a lot of common files which are shared between 
these two portals say the lib folder for each of the webapps of portal1, 
2 and 3.
I somehow managed to have all the html and jsp files in one folder and 
the other folder access the same.
I want to know is there anyway i can put only one lib folder in one 
portal folder and other two portal folders access the same.
I tried to do somewthing in the tomcat shared lib folder but it doesnt work.
Is there any setup that i can do inside jetspeed?
I need to put all of my class files in one folder too.
Please help me out.
