How to checkout latest code from CVS?

Hi,
 
I want to check out latest code from CVS using Maven. I browsed the SCM
project and found the following URL:
 
http://maven.apache.org/scm/plugins/checkout-mojo.html
 
The link founds good but how to introduce it into my pom.xml file is not
discussed. Can you please throw some light on this?
