The same is true for shaded `org.apache.hadoop.hbase.shaded.org.codehaus.jackson.*`.
hbase-shaded-client uses `org.apache.hadoop.conf.Configuration`, which imports two classes from `org.apache.hadoop.hbase.shaded.org.codehaus.jackson` package, but this package is not present in hbase-shaded-client artefact.

I would also raise the priority of this issue, as currently it isn't possible to only depend on hbase-shaded-client at runtime.
