Have you set up the path mappings in your web.xml to actually invoke the
filter when those resources are passed back?

Cant give much assistance on the syntax as Im no expert but should be in the
docs somewhere...

I tried using the CompressionFilter from Tomcat examples.
And the filter works well on jsp and servlet but it doesn't compress any
other(.js .htm ...)

Is there way to compress every responce?
