Mark,

I have successfuly converted both JspPortlet/JspPortletAction and 
VelocityPortlet/VelocityPortletAction to use Todd Kuebler's 
GenericMVCPortlet/GenericMVCAction.  The Jsp's were actually easier to get to 
work than the Velocity ones as there was ambiguousness associated with the 
build*() method signatures.  I had to use a nasty reflection hack to fix this.  
I am going to attach all the modified source as a whole as opposed to a patch 
for the time being so you can easily test it yourself when you get a chance.
