Summary: UTF-16 not working in xsl
Product: Fop
Version: 0.91
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: general
AssignedTo: fop-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
ReportedBy: bryan@inspiredsignage.com
An xsl stylesheet that starts:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
works ok.
If it instead starts:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
then you get the following error:

------- Additional Comments From jeremias@apache.org 2006-02-21 10:28 -------
This is an error from the XML parser, not from FOP. I assume the XML isn't
prefixed with the right byte order mark which is why the parser cannot find the
XML declaration.
