svnlook api call

How can I get svnlook functionality from the api?? (can someone point me to some
client-side api docs?)

I want to write some hooks using compiled code.

That's the documentation for svn_repos.h and svn_fs.h (and some other
header files they use). See for example
http://svn.collab.net/svn-doxygen/

Of course the svnlook program itself can serve as an example of how to
use the API.
