[users@httpd] relocation error: /usr/lib/php/20020429/gd.so: undefined symbol: php_fopen_wrapper

Hello!
I get this error in my apache logs:
/usr/sbin/apache: relocation error: /usr/lib/php/20020429/gd.so: undefined
symbol: php_fopen_wrapper

I am runnign Debian unstable and Apache/1.3.27.
What does this error mean? How cani fix it?
I have install the php4-gd2 package and manually added a debian php4.3.2
package.
